MrConnerton gets a makeover

I have finally found time to roll out my new site with my portfolio and blog. Usually I would have just picked a drupal theme or template, but I felt daring enough to try and design my own theme!

After sumbling across evaneckard designs, I really liked the look/feel/layout of his site and used it as inspiration for designing my own. I basically created a nice background, picked a color scheme, and laid out my pages pretty similar to his. He's the expert isn't he? :-)

I plan to use this blog mostly to discuss, promote, and learn about flex, flash, drupal, and amfphp technologies. I know in some cases during development, I have spent an hour looking on how to do that one thing just right, wishing someone would have blogged about it when they figured it out. I will also be doing lots of experimenting with creating a flex front end, drupal backend site using amfphp. When I am finished, I will showcase it as version 3.0 of the mrconnerton.com site.
